Soundtrack
The soundtrack throughout the extract is purposely used to create certain effects to fit the genre of being an action adventure film. This is can be identified through the use of synchronous sound; this has been used to relate to the sound of the guns and explosions heard at the beach. The audience expects this to happen due to the fact that there is a war. In addition noises of screaming an shouting is heard in the background form others on the beach. Once again this is what is to be expected by the audience when fighting in a war. The sound from the crash of the plane follows the conventions of an action adventure film.
